Wild Bill & Cody’s Vanilla & Bourbon Porter - Extract

This award winning bourbon & vanilla porter and has become one of our most popular homebrew recipes. It has typical porter roasty, coffee flavors tempered with the smoothness of whole vanilla bean and a mild warming flavor of bourbon--enveloped by the slightest hint of the oaky sweetness from the oak barrel chips.

A great beer for fall and winter but drinkable anytime. This one gets better with age.

This was Cody and Bill's first ever homebrew. We all thought it tasted pretty good and suggested they enter it into the state homebrew competition. They took Silver that year.
